Wearing brass jewelry is like wearing music

Brass is a melodic metal. If you have ever seen an orchestra, you’ll know that brass instruments shine bright like gold. They are also very romantic in that they need human breath, or a kiss if you will, to become alive with music. That is why brass jewelry will not only look elegant and beautiful. It will also feel vibrant and warm against your skin.

Our brass is an alloy of copper, zinc, ad tin. It’s quite malleable, so it allows for the same range of transformations as gold or silver. Even very minutely detailed jewelry can be made from brass. It is durable, and even more so with the coatings we’re offering.

Standard production time for a brass piece of jewelry is 10 business days.

To protect your brass jewelry from scratches and corrosion, you can choose either natural PU coating or have it electroplated for special effects.

Natural PU Coated

PU stands for polyurethane. It's a polymer known for its resilience and non-reactivity. It means that it will protect your brass jewelry from scratches and oxidation, and is safe to wear. The coating is clear and doesn't change the natural color of brass.

Yellow Gold Plated Polished

This coating will cover your piece of jewelry with a thin layer of 18k yellow gold. It will be done by means of electroplating, which uses the electric current to generate a thin layer of metal on an object. With this coating, your brass jewelry will have the color and gloss of 18k yellow gold. We will also add a natural PU coating to make it more resilient. So resilient, in fact, that you’ll get a 6-month warranty for the coating.

This finish adds 3 days to the standard production time.

Red Gold Plated Polished

Similarly, this coating will cover your piece of jewelry with a thin layer of 18k red gold. With this coating, your brass jewelry will have the color and gloss of 18k red gold. We will also add a natural PU coating and we’re offering a 6-month warranty for it.

This finish adds 3 days to the standard production time.

Chrome Plated Polished

You can get your brass jewelry in chrome, too. We use electroplating to cover the piece with copper and nickel to help chromium attach. At the end of the process, your piece of jewelry will be covered with a thin layer of chromium.

This finish is very aesthetic, as well as corrosion-resistant. However, it contains a small amount of nickel, which can react with your skin. For this reason, we advise you to avoid jewelry-to-skin contact if this is the finish of your choice.

This finish adds 6 days to the standard production time.

Black Color Plated Polished

Were you hoping for a black finish? We can do that, too. Your piece of jewelry will be electroplated with a thin layer of palladium and silver, and then covered with colored PU coating. We are offering a 6-month warranty for the colored PU coating.

This finish adds 6 days to the standard production time.

Rhodium Plated Polished

Rhodium is a precious metal which has a cold, white, glossy look. It is one of the most expensive metals out there. We use electroplating to cover your piece of jewelry with a very thin layer of rhodium to give it the expensive effect without raising the cost.

It’s a hypoallergenic metal. However, it wears off due to skin contact and exposure to air and water. It must be reapplied to maintain the elegant, rhodium appearance. We are offering a 6-month warranty for this coating.
